3. Reliable Design/Construction
Reliable structural design/construction and high-grade surface protection are required in order to keep operating in North Sea for 20 years without docking.

4. Titanium Pipes and Valves
A fire fighting equipment is one of the most important equipment for safety of FPSO and is required high reliability and durability during 20 year operation in harsh environment. Therefore, titanium pipes and valves are used for fire fighting equipment.
5. Advanced Safety and Reliability
The FPSO has advanced safety and reliability required by Norwegian Oil Ministry.
6. Safety Automation System (SAS)
Safety automation system is provided for all facilities of the FPSO.
Integrated control including remote observation and automatic emergency stop of all functions of FPSO is carried out by SAS, not only for marine system but also for production system.
7. CALS
All documents and drawings, needed for operation / maintenance / inspection of the FPSO, are prepared in electronic format, according to standardized rules. These electronic documents and drawings are maintained in a computer system, in order to minimize a life cycle cost of the FPSO, at a operation stage.
