Kanda Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. completed a 23,948-dwt Bulk Carrier C.S. OCEAN and delivered it to Caribstar Shipping S.A. of Panama.
Features
1. C.S. OCEAN is a flush decker with forecastle, single screw diesel driven open hatch type log and bulk carrier.
2. Intended cargoes are grain including rice, log and lumber, hot coil and other bulk cargoes.
3. Four (4) cargo holds with wide hatches are constructed as double hull with double bottom.
4. Four (4) electro hydraulic deck cranes are installed. Each lifting capacity is 30tons.
5. It's installed fixed and collapsible steel stanchions on both sides of the upper deck for log loading.
