I will start with a general introduction of the Dutch health care system. After that I will introduce to you the general practitioner or, what is the same, the GP or the family doctor, who is very central in the Dutch health care system. In the main part of my presentation I will respectively inform you about hospital care and home care. In the last part, the epilogue, I pay some attention to nursing homes and to transmural care. When we get to the home care subject, I will show you a 10 minutes video of some home care processes. But let's start with the introduction.
