The situation regarding implementation of personal computer communications projects run by local governments, public corporations, the third sector etc., is shown in Table 13.
220 projects are directly run by local governments, 19 are run by public corporations, 43 by the third sector and 32 by other organizations, to give a total of 314 altogether.
Projects under the directly management of local governments account for about two-thirds of the total.
There has been an increase of 35 personal computer communications projects, or 12.5% compared with the previous year.

The operating times of personal computer communications per day are shown in Table 14.
Of the 314 services, the majority, 220 (70.1%), operate for "more than 18 hours a day".
