51. Dam with a low water level

 

Even dams on the upper reaches of rivers are not able to store sufficient water and, especially during the summer months, there are some dams in which the stored water does not even reach 50% capacity.

 

52. Lake with the bottom exposed

 

The same can be said of the five lakes located at the foot of Mt. Fuji, Japan's highest mountain' In addition to a drop in the water table, low levels of rainfall have exposed the bottoms of some of the lakes.

If action is not taken, agricultural water in Japan will also be faced with a crisis situation.
