3.4 Implementation Plan

 

(1) Construction Plan

 

Stage construction plan for Quadruple Tracking is divided and processed by the following route sections and order.

 

・Stage ? for Manggarai - Jatinegara Section (2.7km)

・Stage ? for Jatinegara- Bekasi Section (14.7km)

・Stage ? for Bekasi - Cikarang Section (16.9km)

・Stage ? for Manggarai - Kebayoran Section (10.2km)

 

Main contents of the construction works and their work volume are estimated as shown on the attached sheet.

 

(2) Time Schedule

 

Overall time schedule for Quadruple Tracking is estimated by the following condition for the entire stages.

 

・Pre-Construction Period : Estimated by 3 Years from Year 1998

・Construction Period : Estimated by 5 Years from year 2001

・Operation Period : Estimated from year 2005

 

Assuming that the project is initiated in Year 1998 as the starting time, the detailed time schedule for the entire section and full stages is as shown on the attached sheet.

 

(3) Cost Analysis

 

Construction cost is estimated by the following conditions.

 

・Exchange rates assumed : US$ 1.00 = Rp. 3,600 = J-Yen 120

・Base year for estimate : October 1997

 

Construction cost estimate and total project investment cost for Quadruple Tracking are summarized on the following tables.

 

Railway operation cost and maintenance cost after Quadruple Tracking areestimated as shown on the attached sheets based on the present actual costs in PERUMKA DAOP-I area and assuming the operation starting in Year 2005 partially and in Year 2006 fully for the Quadruple Track routes.
