OBSERVING ULTRAVIOLET ERYTHEMA IN THREE RACES
Lan Feng (The 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Hunan Medical University, Changsha, China)
50 people were selected and divided into three groups (30 blacks, l0 yellov people and 10 white people) in order to observe their different sensitivities to ultraviolet.
The doses of ultraviolet erythema were measured on the right middle abdominal skin of these people. The radiating time was gradually increased one dosimeter hole by another. 6 to 7 hours after ultraviolet radiation, the erythema reaction of the skin could be observed. The radiation time needed to cause a minimal erythema dose on the skin was called 1 MED.
The results showed that the average 1 MED was 101 seconds in blacks, 13 seconds in yellow people and 5 seconds in white people.
According to the observation, there was very important relation between the amount of pigments in the skin and the reaction of ultraviolet erythema and amosg the factors influencing ultraviolet erythema , race was more important than the areas people lived.

OBSERVATION OF 100 CASES OF THE TREATMENT OF HERPES ZOSTER BY ULTRAVIOLET RAY AND AUDIO FREQUENCY.
Qiaochun Feng (The Third Hospital of changsha China)
Abstract: According to Dermopathic Diagnostic Standard, 100 Cases of Herpes Were Selected and Divided Into Two Groups (50 Cases Each) to Compare The Curative Effects. One Group Wastreated By Ultraviolet Ray (Single Treatment); The Other Group By Ultraviolet Ray Combined With Audio Frequency (Combined Treatment).
The Observation Should That The Shorter The Couse of Disease, The Better The Curative Effect, and The Older The Patient The Leas The Curative Effect, And The Smaller The Nidus Range, The Better The Curative Effect. This Disease Has No relation With Sex. These Two Kinds of Therapy Are Workable. The Mean Curative Effective Rate Was 86%. It Was 90% By Using The Combined Treatment And 80% By Single Treatment. It Shows That The Former Is A More Effective Physical Treatment Than The Latter.
