Competitions have always brought out the best in JunGee, who started out as a gospel artist before doing secular works as well. His most recent victories in the field of music include winning Grand Prizes in the Petit Monde Jingle Writing Contest, the 1995 Musika Manila Nationals with a song that placed second in the International Finals, the 1996 MusicOCW and the 1997 Metropop Song Festival. His award-winning songs include "Di Ka Ba Marunong Umayaw?(Say No To Drugs)", "Sa Yahweh ang Sayaw" and "Say I Do".
He has written and composed songs for a host of artists such as Gary Valenciano, Regine Valasquez and Nanette Inventor. He has written around a hundred songs, more than half of which are Gospel songs for the Papuri! Music Ministry of the Far East Broadcasting Company, Philippines. He now heads Papuri! as its newly-appointed Executive director.

With a voice that is powerful and versatile, Lani Misalucha's talent makes people stop and take notice. Even though she has had no formal training in singing, her talent has been honed through the years in school competitions, chorale singing, theater and lounge stints.
Her debut album under Alpha Records entitled Lani Misalucha: More Than I Should has garnered both critical and commercial success. The album earned several nominations in the 1997 KATHA Music Awards: Best New Artist, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for the songs "Ang libigin Ay Ikaw", "More Than I Should" and "Isang Ulit Man Lang" and R&B vocal Performance for "More Than I Should".
In November 1997, Lani interpreted the Philippine entry "One More Time" in the Third Musika Manila International Songwriting Competition. Competing against other contestants from the U.S., Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, the Philippine entry won second prize. Fresh from this kind of success in an international competition, Lani will again represent the Philippines as she interprets the Philippine entry "Handle With Care" at the third Asia Song Festival Phillioines' 98.
