MIKIKO MATSUYAMA (Jury)(JAPAN)
1936年、日劇ダンシングチーム･バレエ科の第一期生となり、東バレエ団に所属しプリマ･バレリーナとして活躍。オリガ･サファイヤ、東勇作に師事。1943年東洋音楽学校本科ピアノ科卒。1948年清水正夫と松山バレエ学校、松山バレエ団を創設。「白鳥の湖」ほか、古典バレエを上演するとともに創作バレエ「白狐の湯」、「白毛女」、「夢殿」などを発表。1957年「バフチサライの泉」の振付により芸術祭文部大臣奨励賞、1959年「白毛女」で平和文化賞を受賞。他に舞踊ペンクラブ賞、舞踊芸術賞、「祇園祭」で芸術祭賞、1985年、紫綬褒章、1989年、日本芸能実演家団体協議会芸能功労者表彰などを受賞。1978年、舞踊生活42周年･バレエ団30周年記念公演で「ライモンダ」に出演。以後、芸術監督として松山バレエ団の舞台を支えている。勲四等宝冠章を受賞。また、ローザンヌ･コンクールなど内外のバレエコンクールの審査員も勤めている。
In 1936,became a student in the first graduating class of Ballet Course of the Nichigeki Dancing Team, Joined Azuma Ballet Company, and performed as a prima ballerina.
Studied under Origa Sappire and Yusaku Azuma. In 1943, graduated from Piano Course, Tokyo Music School. In 1948, Established the Matsuyama Ballet school and the Matsuyama Ballet Company together with Masao Shimizu. Performed classical ballets including "Swan lake", and announced creative ballets including "Biyakko no Yu", "Hakumoujyo", and "Yumedono". In 1957, conferred the Minister of Education Encourragement Award at the Art Festival for the choregraphy of "The Fountain of Bakhchisaray". In 1959, conferred the peace and Culture Award for "Hakumoujyo". Also conferred the peace and Culture Award, the Dancing Art Award, and the Art Festival Award for "Gion Festival". In 1985, conferred the Medal with Purple Ribbon. In 1989, conferred the Commendation for the Distinguished Service in Art by the Council of Japanese Art Performers Organizations. In 1978, performed in "Raymonda" in the public performance in commendation of the 42nd Anniversary of her dancing life and the 30th Anniversary of the Matsuyama Ballet Company. Since then, serving as the Art Director of the Matsuyama Ballet Company. Conferred the Fourth Class Order of the precious Crown. Serving as a Jury in the domestic and overseas ballet competitions including the Lausanne Competition.
