炎太鼓

炎太鼓は、3人の女性の演奏グループで、主として直径1.5mもある特大の大太鼓を演奏しております。その太鼓の大きさの故に、その演奏には強固な肉体と高度の演奏技術が必要とされます。他の打楽器と同様リズムは重要な要素となりますが、和太鼓の場合は視的感覚が重要視されます。観客が演奏者に求めるものは演奏があたかも一つのドラマであるかのように見えることで、演奏者の肉体的及び感情的表現が必要です。炎太鼓は和太鼓の世界に新しい女性のイメージを導入したものです。

HONO TAIKO

HONO TAIKO is a group of three women who play an extra-large ODAIKO with a diameter of more than 1.5 meter. Because of the sheer size of the ODAIKO, it requires both physical strength and a high degree of performing skill. As with all percussion instruments, rhythm is an essential element. However, in the case of TAIKO, the visual effects are considered equally important. The audience expect a performance to be a drama, demanding both the physical and emotional expressive powers of the performers. HONG TAIKO provides a powerful new feminine image in the world of TAIKO.
