Abstract
This paper presents about a characteristics of response of floating body moored to quay and wharf operation efficiency. A floating body moored to quay like a baggage ship was known that the sub-harmonic phenomenon occur by asymmetrical mooring. The water area that a floating body is moored is in the depths of a bay or a port that harbor tranquillity is high rate. But the motion that include sub-harmonic phenomenon isn't estimated exactly by only asymmetrical mooring.
In this paper, the authors studied about influence on wharf operation efficiency by slow varying drift force including the secondary incident wave. Also, influence on responses of a floating body by reflective rate of quay and distance from quay was examnined.
