ABSTRACT
Wakasu Sea-side Park locates the south-east end of Tokyo Port Area. It is a reclaimed
land that had the urban waste materials layer between the normal earth materials layeras ground surface and sea sand dredged layer, especially, the golf links of this Sea-sidePark. This reclaimed land is constructed on the soft ground.
In 1990,Wakasu Sea-side Park is completed to depend on the capital fund of Tokyo metropolitan government. Main facilities of this park are each composed of the golf links, the cycling road, the camping ground, the fishing facility, and the yacht trainning center.
It was established the Wakasu Sea-side Park management foundation in August 1990 to that mange them. Thereafter, it has passed about six years to this day.
In this study, it is investigated on the basis of managerial results for 6 years, it includes the financial condition, the utilization of facilities, the environmental survey, the land subsidence and the gas generated from urban waste materials layer.
In Conclusion，it has come to the investigation that have no problems on the financial conditions and the utilization of facilities except the insufficiency of parking area.
However, it has remained some problems on the environmental. For instance,they are a land subsidence of several centimeter per year and the influence on the trees by the generated gas. Moreover, it is only the Wakasu Sea-side Park, the public park in the harbor area like this in Japan.
