Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to experimentally and analytically study on the temperature profiles and Chemical processes of nutrients, which have great influence on the ecology, tideland environment, and mnarine circumstances in the tideland region of the shallow sea. It is very important to clarify the temperature distribution and nutrients variation, which are important facters in order to effectively use the tideland sediments and conserve its environment. The temporal and spatial temperature distribution of the sea-bottom sediments, temperature con- ductivity, redox potential, nutrients concentration distribution, elution speed of nutrients and soil reflectance characteristics have been discussed.
The measuring results showed that the temperature of the sea-bottom sediments was strongly influ- enced by irradiance, weather condition and water depth. In particular, when the peak time of irradiance almost coincides with the time of flood tide, the temperature variation with time on the surface andin the shallow layer of the sea-bottom sediments is suppressed. The temporal and spacial variations of temperature conductivity of the sediments is very large, but its mean value is about 4 × 10-3cc?/sec. The nutrient levels and associated biogenic processes in shallow sea with sediments have been found to correlate with sea-bottom sediment conditions. The characteristics of soil reflectance under many different soil type and moisture ratios is affected by the organic matter content and water content. But their natural reflectance curve types are sustained constantly.
