ABSTRUCT
This water-intake works is compsed of a slope, a submerged mound ,a pool and inlet pipes. Hydraulic model testwere carried out. Incident wave height, wave-setup at the pool which is located on the breakewater ,and Water inflow velocity were measured. It is made clear that wave-setup and inflow velocity are depend upon incident wave height, depth of submerged mound and tide level. Acording to the results of these model tests, a method for calculating water inflow velocity are developped. And calculated value shows good agreement with measured one.
