Purchase of 9 Nos. diesel electric locomotives, 12 Nos. passenger coaches, 10 Nos. brake vans. spare parts for rolling stocks ar1d tunneling equipment, signal & telecommunication system and spares.

Purchase of 10 Nos. diesel electric locomotives, 28 Nos. passenger coaches, rail-line and bridge construction equipment and machinery, locomotive spare parts and signal and telecommunication equipment.

Yrearly Purchase Plan of locomotives
During this Five-year plan a total number of 25 Numbers locomotives will be scrapped due to over age. These will be replaced by purchase of new locomotives and additional 31 Nos.locomotives will be purchase to meet the total numbers of train services as shown in Annezture-B.
