1) Conditions of curved lines and tracks closely connected with running speed of body tilting car and other necessary measures are examined and clarify the possibility of time reduction in transport.
2) Measures to improve the operation conditions of Northern Line as a whole is clarified to realize the effective time reduction of daytime limited express trains.
1.3 Method of investigation
In order to examine the effective execution of this study, a committee consisting of men of learning and experience was organized in Japan Railway Technical Service. Then the investigation commission conducted its survey under the deliberation and guidance of this committee.
First of all, the investigation commission collected in Japan necessary information and materials on both railways in Japan and Thailand. Then, upon completion of the field survey in Thailand, the study works for examination and clarification were done in Japan.
