1. INTRODUCTION

To meet the increasing needs and demands from customers today, for lower price, better functions and higher reliability, we have developed the WE300 new engine monitoring system as a worthy successor to our existing WE3 engine monitoring system.

The new WE300 is an innovation product from the thorugh research continually carried out by our company. Using the latest technology, the WE300 incorporates colour LCD display with tough-screen controls and when compared with WE3 system, this new model goes one step further to become an all-in-one system in a single housing. It also comes with an advanced recording function that is upgraded to a data logger rather than just as an engine alarm & monitoring device.

The signal input section includes an improved version of field performance proven TM/TMA multiplex transmission system and hybrid ICs to achieve much better functions in more compact system package.

2. MARKET NEEDS AND TRENDS

In developing the WE300, we obtained valuable feedback from our customers who have used our alarm & monitoring system, and with our main objective of satisfactory customers' needs, we also analyzed the recent needs by the market and the recent trends in engine monitoring systems in general.
