Mitubisi Selijector ( called SJ for short) is a disc type centrifuge widely used to clarify fuel or lubricating oil in ships, power plants and many industrial areas including food processing and pharmaceutical industries. In its use as a fuel or lubricating oil clarifier, the machine efficiently separates sludge and water from the oil to ensure the smooth operation of the engine.
Nowadays we often hear crew members of ships say that existing ship operation constraints make it increasingly difficult to:
1. have enough time for the maintenance of oil clarifier.
2. find persons able to service oil clarifier properly.
In such situation, high reliability of the oil clarifier is demanded as matter of course. In response to it, we strove for products higher in performance and easier to operate and successfully developed new oil clarifiers (SJ-F series or SJ Future series ) as a solid combination of latest technology and our long accumulated experience in the field under the concept "Tougher in Construction: Higher in Maintainability"

2 Design Concepts of SJ-F series
As we mentioned in the press release, the objective of the development of our new Mitsubishi Selfiector future series was to create what is "tougher in construction and higher in maintainability" With this in mind, we designed the Selfjectors to the following four basic concepts:
? Improvement in structural toughness and maintainability
? Use of basic structural design of SJ-E series
? Standardized product line-up through combination and elimination of existing models
? Others- simplified outfitting work; use of highly reliable new detectors; expanded system cinfiguration (with satellite-linked systems, concentration sensors, etc.)
