Born in Nagoya, she won the first prize at Japan Dance Competition. In 1982, she went to Pares to study with Yvonne Mayer and Daini Kudo. In 1983, she joined Inoue Ballet Company as a Princepal Dancer And danced Giselle with Cyril Atanassoff of Paris Opera. In 1989, Muramatsu award, 1991 Tachibana Akiko Award. Her Repertory Includes GISELLE, SWAN LAKE, THE NUTCRACKER, COPPELIA, PUCK, YUKIHIME, PAS DE QUATRE, etc. She is guesting with many other companies. She guested, with Kentaro Morita, in the Slovak National Theatre to dance SWAN LAKE, November 1993.
She made her debut in the role of Cinderella in her graduation school performance.
In July, 1984, she danced the pas de deux from WILHELM TELL with Frank Andersen, principal dancer of the Royal Danish Ballet. In December same year, shi dnced the role of sugar plum fairy in NUTCRACKER in place of the injured principal dancer. Since then, she has danced main roles in the production of Inoue Ballet, such as Odette and Okile in SWAN LAKE, Princess Aurora in THE SLEEPING BEAUTY, Taitania in PUCK, Swanilda in COPPELIA, Giselle in GISELLE, etc.
