堤俊作 Shunsaku TSUTSUMI

1963年桐朋学園高校入学、引き続き同大学でコントラバスを専攻と同時に、指揮を斎藤秀雄氏に師事、1970年首席で卒業。1972年東京交響楽団を指揮して楽壇デビュー。1973年東響の正指揮者就任（77年まで）、1974年ルパート指揮者コンクール第3位。1978年ジュネーブ国際コンクール指揮者部門「第1回エルネストアンセルメ指揮者コンクール」で優勝。1986年松山バレエ団音楽監督就任、1988年札幌交響楽団専属指揮者就任（92年まで）。国際的にも幅広く活躍しており、欧米のオーケストラや音楽祭にもたびたび出演しているが、オペラ・バレエの分野での活躍は特に知られるところであり、わが国のみならず世界的にも有数のバレエ音楽指揮者として、絶大なる評価を得ている現在。東京ニューフィルハーモニック管弦楽団音楽監督、静岡交響楽団音楽監督、松山バレエ団音楽監督、牧阿佐美バレエ団音楽監督、桐朋学園大学講師、尚美学園短期大学客員教授ほか。

Music Director. Tokyo New Philharmonic Orchestra, Shizuoka Symphony Orchestra. The Matsuya Ballet, Asami Maki Ballet. Guest Prof. of Tokyo Conservatoire Shohi. Born in Osaka in 1947. he studied at Toho Gakuen College of Music under Prof. Hideo Saito. Made his debut in a regular concert of Tokyo Symphony Orchestra in 1972. Became the resident conductor of Tokyo Symphony Orchestra in 1974. Won the first prize at the Concurs International d'Execution Musicale, Geneve, in 1978.

Appears as the guest conductor with many professional orchestras through Japan. including the NHK Symphony. Outside Japan. has appeared with many orchestras. including London Symphony. L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and so on.

広上淳一 Jun'ichi HIROKAMl

広上淳一は1984年、オランダで開催された第1回キリル・コンドラシン国際指揮者コンクールで優勝した、その後アシュケナージにその才能を認められるなど一躍世界の注目を集め、ヨーロッパではイギリスのロイヤル・フィル、オランダの口ッテルダム・フィル、フィンランド放送交響楽団、スイスのローザンヌ室内管弦楽団、スウェーデンのノールショピング交響楽団（ここでは95年7月まで首席指揮者を務めた）などに定朗的に客演している。1996年にはトロント交響楽団（ソロはヨーヨー・マ）、シンシナティ交響楽団（ソロはゲルバー）、ピッツバーク交響楽団（ソロはワッツ）といった北米のメジャー。オーケストラにあいついでデビュー活動の増を一層広げようとしている

1991年以来日本フィルの正指揮者で、今年5月にはヨーロッパ公演を成功させた。

His international career began in September 1984 when he won the first Kondrashin International Conducting Competition in Amsterdam- a major competition that takes place every 5 years in memory of the great Russian conductor Kilill Kondrashin who died from a heart attack after conducting a concert in the Concertgebouw. Ashkenass was so impressed that he chose Hirokami as his conductor for a concert tour of Japan with the NHK Symphony Orchestra in May 1985. A treasured memory, from which he learnt a great deal. was a Concertgebouw Orchestra tour conducted by a sick Leonard Bernstain who asked for Hirokami to help him with the Mahler rehearsals and to be in reserve. Since 1990 he has been conducting some famous orchestras including the Israel Philharmonic (more than 50 concerts with them ) . the Concertgebeuw. Vienna Symphony. Stockholm Philharmonic. Lausanne Chamber, the London Symphony. Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. BBC Scottish Symphony. From 1988 to 1995 he had a position with the Norrkoeping Symphony Orchestra in Sweden as the Guest Conductor until 1990 and subsequently the Chief Conductor. In 1992 he started recording for the Swedish label BIS with the Norrkoeping Orchestra. He starts his American career in 1996 with concerts with the Cincinnati Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Pittaburgh Symphony, Toronto Symphony and so on. From 1992 he worked regularly with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and he was invited to become their Chief Conductor from 1995.

モーシェ・ムルヴィッツ Moshe MURVITZ

1930年、イスラエル生れのヴァイオリニスト。1995年7月まで長らくイスラエル・フィル第一コンサートマスターを務め。トスカニーニ、ジュリーニ、バーンスタイン、ベルティーニ、メータなどの世界の超一流の指揮者のもとで、“世界最高の弦”と評されるイスラエル・フィルをリードしてきた、テル・アヴィヴでOeden Partosに師事したムルヴィッツは、弱冠15歳でイスラエル・フィルのソリストとしてデビュー、1947年にはプラハで開かれた国際ヴァイオリン・コンクールで優勝した。

クーセヴィツキーの招きでタングルウッド音楽祭に参加、初めてアメリカを訪れる。さらに、ジュリアード音楽院でイヴァン・ガラミアンのもとで研債を積んだ。

イスラエル。フィルの第一コンサートマスターのかたわら、トロント交響楽団、フィレンツェのトスカーナ管弦業団、シチリア交響楽団、フィレンツェ5月音楽祭管弦業団、ナポリのサン・カルロ歌調場管弦業団などに客演コンサートマスターとして招かれ、それらのオーケストラの指導にあたった、

またすぐれた教育者として、北イスラエル音楽院の主任教授の他、トロント大学音楽学部や、昨年（1995年）7月〜8月には、スイスで、マスター・クラス（ソロとオーケストラ）で後進の指導にあたっている。

室内業の分野ではイスラエル・ピアノ・クァルテットを創設、1994年4月にはイスラエル政府並びに文化省の派遣で北京と東京で公演した。

Israeli-horn violinist Moshe Murvitz, Concert Master of The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, studied with Oeden partos in Tel Aviv and Ivan Galamian at the Julliard School of Music in New York. He first performed as soloist with The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of fifteen, and later was a prize winner at the Prague International Violin Competition. He first went to the USA at the invitation of Serge Koussevitzky. who asked him to go to Tanglewood. He has performed frequently as soloist with The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony. the Haifa Symphony, the various chamber orchestras of Israel and also with The Toronto Symphony. Apart from being Concert Master of The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Moshe Murvitz also frequently leads other prestigious orchestras such as The Toronto Symphony, the Maggio Musicale Orchestra in Florence, the Sicilian National Symphony Orchestra in Palermo, the Teatro San Carlo Orchestra in Naples and the Symphony Orchestra of Euskadi, Spain.

Moshe Murvite is also founder of The Israel Piano quartet Together with pianist Pnina Saizman, violist Avrtham Borustein and cellist Elhanan Bregtnan, he performs in Israel, Europe. Canada, the United States,latin America,the Far Fast and Australia. The Quartet's repertoire includes all the classical and romantic works for piano quartet, as well as contemporary Israeli compositions.

As well as performing with The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and concerts with The Israel Piano Quartet, Moshe Murvita is also a prominent teacher. For several years, he was Head of the Violin Departmence of the Conservatorium of Northern Israel. later, while VisitingConcert Master of The Toronto Symphony Orchestra. he taught in the Music Department of Toronto University.He also coaches professional musicians and leaders of orchestras such as the Maggio Musicale. Florence and the Teatro San Carlo, Naples. Most recently he has been coaching professicnal violinists applying to join The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

Moshe Murvitz is currently coaching the string section of the Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
