いろいろな人と話をすることによって、

その人の中の偏見をなくしていこうと思っています。

「なんてかわいそうな自分」

なんていう人間にはなりたくありません。

どんな体験をしたのか人に知ってもらいたいとは思いますが、

「かわいそうな人」とは思ってもらいたくないのです

　

My idea is always one of fighting the stigma and

communicating with people is the best way to do this.

I don't like to be a 'poor me' type person...

I like to remember what I went through and explain it to others,

but not have them feel sorry for me

　

これからは物を貰うために手を差し出すのではなく

私たちからの助けを必要とする

隣人を助けるために手を差し伸べよう

　

We should no longer reach out our hands to receive,

but rather extend our loving hands to those neighbours who need our help
