A proposal of the Machinery alarm monitoring and control system in Ubiquitous computing
BE-D20 realizes for you an integrated information service system on board.
“Anybody” “Anytime” “Anywhere” is our theme. We are committed to handling ease, reliability and extensibility with our state-of-the-art Internet Technology.
1. We presents sophisticated Data Processing and General Purpose User Interface
While remaining committed to the philosophy of functional decentralization, we have succeeded in realizing sophisticated data processing and general purpose interfacing by arranging a web server and a database server in the core of the system.
Needed information can be acquired anywhere through a PC on the General Network, and utilized and checked.
A Linux OS is used for the server system to ensure a high level of reliability and security.
2. Three-Layered Network Embodying Further Development
The three-layered network, each layer being functionally separated from others, achieves coordination of mutually conflicting requirements including openness, reliability and robustness.
General network: Open as the network for clerical processing onboard.
System network: Inter-system network with priority on reliability through duplication.
Field network: Network with emphasis on duplication, environmental aspects and real time availability.
3. Operating Ease Optimized Centering on Mimic Display
An elaborate plant flow sheet is displayed in a finer and better understandable three-dimensional diagram.
Just touch a tag on the mimic display, and you will jump to the desired window. (Tag jump function)
You can monitor, control and check the trouble in one screen, if any auto alarm is issued.
You can select any of more frequently used windows by just touching a key. (Customizing function for function keys)
4. Provided with Thorough Maintenance Functions
You can readily change the program, tag names, ranges, units and other items on board.
The crew needs no special expertise to change the names, ranges or units.
You can select between continued operation and halt for each system line during the outfitting of the ship, so that the waste of time during restoration can be minimized.
The self-diagnosing function and maintenance guidance contribute to appropriate and prompt system maintenance.
