1993年大阪音楽大学在籍中にクラリネット四重奏団D.C.T.カルテットを結成し、大阪を中心に演奏活動を行う。大学卒業後、メンバーそれぞれが独自の音楽の探求のため、パリへ留学し、研鑽を積む。その間、四重奏団としては一時休止することとなる。帰国後は各々がオーケストラとの共演や新作作品初演、リサイタルの開催など活発な活動を続けるが、本フェスタが開催されるのを機に2001年D.C.T.カルテットを再結成。現在、活動の場を広げつつある。

　

D.C.T.Quartet was formed in 1993 when its members were studying at Osaka College of Music. Concert performances in Osaka. After graduation from the university, each member studied in Paris to pursue their personal interests. In the meantime, the Ensemble stopped its' activities as a quartet. They returned to Japan and worked actively such as performing in orchestra and a new work premiere, giving a recital. In 2001, they re-formed as new D.C.T.Quartet to participate in this Festa. Now, the scope of their activity has extended.

　

　

　

　1996年コネチカット州、ニュー・ヘヴンで結成。室内楽マガジンは同アンサンブルをアメリカでトップ10位に入る室内楽グループであると賞賛。レパートリーは伝統音楽から現代音楽と幅広い。2000年の活動はケネディ・センター、ニュー・ヴィクトリー・シアターでのコンサート、ニュー・イングランド地方、ニュー・ヘヴンでの芸術と発想フェスティバル、シカゴでのツアー、オンタリオでのデビュー等。2001年から2002年はニューヨークのコロンビア大学に留まり、2002年にはコネチカットのウェスレヤン大学へ移る。これまでの主な受賞歴としては、1997年にフィショッフコンクール優勝、1999年第3回大阪国際室内楽フェスタ第2位、コンサートアーティストギルドコンクールのファイナリスト等である。

　

Formed in 1996 in New Haven, Connecticut. Chamber Music Magazine featured the Elm City Ensemble as one of America's top ten leading chamber ensembles. Repertoire spans from traditional classical music to the music of today. The 2000 season included concerts at the Kennedy Center, the New Victory Theater in NY City, a tour of New England; the Festival of Arts and Ideas in New Haven, CT, a Chicago tour, and their Canadian debut in Ontario. Starting the 2001-2002 season the ensemble will be in residence at Columbia University, NY, and in 2002 at Wesleyan University, Connecticut. Awards: 1997 Grand and First Prizes-Fischoff; 1999 Silver Medal, 3^rd Osaka Int'l Chamber Music Festa; 2001 finalists, Concert Artists Guild Competition.

　

　

　

　1996年に結成されたハンモウム室内楽団は「伝統と創作が調和した素晴らしい演奏」をモットーとしている。6回の定期演奏会を開き18曲の創作曲を初演した。加えて、韓国伝統芸術国立センターや地方自治体・公共機関等による招待コンサートで多数演奏している。彼らはその豊富な経験を持って、1999年KBS国楽大賞の最終候補にノミネートされる。すでにマイム、舞踊、ファッション、美術などとの出合いを企画し好評を博した同楽団は、他の芸術ジャンルと交わりながらも国楽の深みと神明を伝えようとしている。豊富な経歴を基盤として繰り広げる神秘的で奥妙な音の調和は、めまぐるしい21世紀に清明で透き通った音楽の気運を伝えるだろうと期待される。

　

Founded in early 1996. the Hanmoum Ensemble is a very specific chamber ensemble of characteristic Korean traditional music. It has 6 subscriptional annual regular concerts to premiere 18 new compositions. In addition, It presented many concerts at the National Center for Korea Traditional Performing Arts and invitational concerts by local governments, institutions, art agencies, schools and companies. Through their rich experiences, nominated to KBS Traditional Music Award 1999, Hanmoum has outstandingly contributed to the music with harmony both traditional and creative aspects. It recently tries to add another genre as mime, dance, fashion, fine arts to progress into further stages.

　

　

　

　1996年カナダで結成。ポーランド、ハンガリー、ドイツ、イタリア、カナダ、アメリカ、キプロス、イスラエル、日本で演奏。2000年東京国際ピアノデュオコンクール、ローマ2001年国際コンクールで優勝。同グループはハンガリーでの春季ブタペストフェスティバル、カナダでのパシフィック・リムフェスティバル、ドイツでのバド・ヘレナルプ・フェスティパル、エルサレムでのピアノデュエット・フェスティバルへ招待される。イスラエルに居住し、イスラエル・シンフォニー・オーケストラやそのほかのオーケストラと演奏する。

　

Founded in Canada in 1996, the Duo appeared in Poland, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Canada, USA, Cyprus, Israel and Japan. First prize winners at the Tokyo 2000 International Piano Duo Competition and the "Rome 2001" International Competition, the group was invited to the Budapest Spring Festival in Hungary, Pacific Rim Festival in Canada, Bade Herrenalb Festival in Germany and Piano Duet Festival in Jerusalem. Residing in Israel, they performed with The Israel Symphony Orchestra and other orchestras.

　

　

　

　二人の姉妹は幼少時代より音楽に親しんでいる。同デュオはヨーロッパ内、日本のほか、有名なフェスティバル（ラインガウ音楽祭、メックレンブルク−フォルポメルンフェスティバル、クロイトのオレグ・カガン音楽祭）で高い評価を得ている。1999年、ボンで行われたドイツ室内楽コンクールで奨学金を勝ち取り、第44回若年芸術家の連邦セレクションへ認められる。それに加えて、「バーデン市文化基金」の室内楽コンクールで優勝。同デュオはヘルガ・ドルー財団をスポンサーとし、パリ在住のイヴリー・ギトリスから重要な音楽援助を受けている。

　

The sisters have been playing music together since their childhood. The duo has won great acclaim in recitals throughout Europe, Japan, and at different renowned festivals. In 1999, they won a scholarship at the German Music Competition tor Chamber Music in Bonn and were admitted into the 44^th Federal Selection for Young Artists. Besides that, they won the Chamber Music Competition of the "Kulturfonds Baden". The duo is sponsored by the "Helga Drews" Foundation and receives Important musical input from Ivry Gitlis in Paris.

　

　

　

　二人は1994年にロンドンの王立音楽院でアーロン・ショール氏とマーティン・ロスコー氏に師事する。コンクールの経歴は、第9回国際シューベルト・ピアノデュオ・コンクール、第45回ミュンヒェン国際コンクール（2台のピアノの部）である。彼らはバイエルン・ラジオ放送のオーケストラと共にBBCラジオとカナダのCBCラジオで生放送を行った。デビューCDはROSLレーベルより1997年10月リリースし、評論家の賞賛を受けた。

　

Formed in 1994. At the same time, they began their studies with Aaron Shorr and Martin Roscoe at the Royal Academy of Music in London. They participated in the 9^th International Schubert Piano Duo Competition, and the 45^th ARD International Two Piano Competition. They have appeared with the Bayerische Rundfunk Orchestra and have given live broadcasts for BBC Radio 3 and CBC-Radio Canada. Their debut CD was released to critical acclaim in October 1997 on the ROSL Label.

　

　

　

　全員が武蔵野音楽大学出身。同大学在学中の1997年結成。以来、この編成でのレパートリーを積極的にとりあげ、学内はもとより数多くの演奏会に出演。いずれも好評を博してきた。また、トリオのみならずデュオ・ソロの作品もとりあげ、その活動を幅広いものにしている。中でも、バルトークの「コントラスツ」は結成当初から度々演奏している主要レパートリーの一つである。これまでにカールマン・ベルケシュ、ゲオルギ・バデフ、エルジェーベト・トゥーシャ、イェネ・ヤンドーの各氏に師事。

　

Formed in 1997. All its members are graduates from Musashino University of Music. Since then, the repertory of the Trio has been amplified and they have appeared at the university and outside in many concerts. The concerts have won popularity. Moreover, not only a trio but a duet and solo works are performed, and the activity has widened. One of their main pieces is Bartk's Contrasts which was frequently performed from the time of formation. Until now the Trio studied with Carlman Belkeju, Georugi Badefu, Erujiebeto Tusha, and lene Yando.

　

　

　

　二人は1995年にデュオを結成。二人とも早期より音楽活動を盛んに行い、多数のヨーロッパ室内楽フェスティバル（チェコ、エストニア、スロヴェニア、ポーランド、ハンガリー）で演奏している。彼らは2回レバノンを訪れ、多大な賞賛を受ける。定期的にチェコラジオの録音と生放送にゲストとして招かれている。また、二人は「アンサンブルつむじ風」と「プラハ人民の声」の初代のメンバーでもある。

　

Formed in 1995. They are both very active on the early music scene, having performed at numerous European chamber music festivals (Czech Republic, Estonia, Slovenia, Poland, and Hungary). They visited Lebanon two times to great critical acclaim. They are regular guests of the Czech Radio for recordings and live broadcasts. They are founding members of the Ensemble Tourbillon and Les Voix humaines Prague.
