Graduate Fellowship for Young Leaders
 
SYLFF Program:
The objective of the program is to support outstanding masters and doctoral students at the Graduate School of Media and Governance who demonstrate high potential for leadership in international affairs. The program is open to students majoring in the following three areas: Policy and Organization, Environments, and Media.
Fellowships are provided for tuition fees and the subsidy of research costs. In principle, fellowships are given for up to three years.

SYLFF Program:
Fellowships are awarded to master's and doctoral degree students who are enrolled in social science or humanities programs and whose research relates to the Asia-Pacific region in the following four areas: human rights, environment, information, and cross-cultural studies.
 
The availability of fellowships is announced on the university's website. Applications are screened and short-listed applicants are interviewed.
