International Trade and Development Graduate Fellowship Program
 
SYLFF Program:
All graduate students at OUS campuses are eligible to receive fellowships under this program, which supports students with high potential for future leadership in international affairs.
 
Selection Process:
The following criteria are employed in the selection process: sustained commitment to international concerns, broad vision and focused context, commitment to international pursuits including international studies, foreign language acquisition, leadership abilities including the ability to cooperate with others and cross-cultural awareness and consciousness, indication of continued departmental support, as well as integration of personal, academic and professional goals, clarity and significance of research and communication competence. Fellowships are for up to US$12,000, with exceptional consideration of reduced awards for students who have previously received fellowships. Fellowships are renewable for up to three years. Eighty-nine (89) fellowships have been awarded to date.
