The 1st Fellowship Training for PSC Officers 30 January〜16 February 2001 at Overseas Shipbuilding Cooperation Centre,Yokohama, Japan
QUESTIONNAIRE
Dear course participants,
You are kindly requested to comment on the following questions:
1. How do you evaluate this training programme on the following items:
1.1 Overall layout and time allocation
・More time at least ten working days should be allowed to OJT. This will give the trainees more time to observe how the more experience host PSCO conducts proper PSC inspections. This will also allow more time for discussions of issues which the host PSCO and trainees have differring opinions or interpretations. (Jerry A Nibre, Philippines)
・OJT might have been extended. It give us opportunity to develop harmonization for PSC implementation in Asia Pacific region. (Kim Jong Pil, Korea)
・I suggest to add another tour to the shipyard and liferaft service station, etc. (Zhou Zun Shan, China)
1.2 Classroom lecture at OSCC prior to OJT
・For the STCW lecturer, need better communication in English. (Kim Jong Pil, Korea)
・I suggest that additional lectures on new amendments to the conventions. ( Ling Lee Hua. China)
1.3 On the job training at local Transport Bureau offices
・It was very hard for me on long journey with a heavy weight luggage which contents with boiler suit, helmet, safety shoes and jumper. If OSCC can send them by courier, It's very pleased for us. (Anchuat Thong-Aporn, Thailand)
