天城連峰太鼓
財団主催の「第2回自治大臣杯日本太鼓ジュニアコンクール」が去る3月19日石川県松任市において29道府県から選抜された高校生以下の34チームが出場して行われました。このコンクールで、天城連峰太鼓が優勝し、本日その演奏を披露することとなりました。
平成元年、森の感謝祭と共に誕生した町内有志で結成されている太鼓チームです。週2回の練習と町内外のイベント参加、町内小学校(3校)の太鼓指導と高等学校のクラブ活動指導等、幅広く活動しております。オリジナル曲8曲を有し、自然を題材に創作活動もしております。
現在会員総数は、50名を数えるほどになりました。平成9年には、手作りの大太鼓を製作し、将来は、町の伝統文化になるべく全員頑張っております。
Amagirenpo Taiko
The Second Nippon Taiko Junior Contest was held in Ishikawa prefecture on March 19, 2000. The thirty-four teams, all composed of members younger than 18, participated from twenty-nine prefectures. Amagirenpo Taiko won the first prize with a brilliant performance.
This team was formed by the local volunteers in 1989 when the Forest Thanksgiving Festival was held in their community. Since then, they have been putting efforts to develop Amagirenpo Taiko to become the indigenous culture of the town they represent. They practice twice a week and they are active in performing out of town. They also conduct Taiko lessons for the elementary school students and high school clubs. Now the member totals over fifty players.
