心学の具体的実践の一つである「倹約」を通して、家を斉(ととの)え、興隆させる道をわかりやすい文章で表現している。延享元年(1744)梅岩60歳で亡くなる直前の著作である。
In this work Baigan explains in easy to understand language, that the road to prosperity can be achieved by putting into practice the concept of‘Frugality', while doing business as a merchant. He wrote it in 1744 when he was 60, shortly before his death.
