When students hear pleasant speech easy on the ear, they will work to perfect esophageal speech, using their instructor's voice as their goal. They are more likely to stick with their practice sessions, feeling that such practice will help to make their lives worth living.
The instructor should not, however, boast about speech experiences or show off in front of students.
(4) Gain knowledge through broadening your experience.
In addition to the experience you have had thus far, work to acquire new knowledge on speech and training by reading upon esophageal speech and participating in training sessions.
Students will often ask your advice on things other than speech training. If you can answer them openly and sincerely, they will come to trust you. This trust, in turn, will have a very positive effect on their subsequent practice and progress.
