呉祖強教授

1927年北京生まれ。北京の中央音楽学院とモスクワのチャイコフスキー音学院で学ぶ。中央音楽学院にて講師、教授補佐、教授、副学院長となり1982年から1988年まで学院長を勤め、現在は名誉院長。1985年中国音楽家協会の副会長、1988年、中国文学芸術連盟の実行副会長となり、1996年副会長に再選される。

中国内外の国際音楽コンクールで、審査委員、主催者を勤める。数多くのジャンルの曲を作曲しているが、特に1959年の「マーメイド」などのダンス音楽は、現代中国のダンスドラマに大きな影響を与えている。近年は、中国伝統の民族音楽や楽器と、ヨーロッパのオーケストラとを結び付ける試みをし、中国の音楽界や海外で広く歓迎されている。著書「音楽作品の形式と分析」で1987年受賞。

 

Born in 1927 in Beijing, Prof. Zuqiang WU studied at the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing, and at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow.

As a lecturer, Assistant Professor and then Professor at the Central Conservatory, he became Vice President in 1978 and was President from 1982 to 1988. Now he is Honorary President of the Conservatory. In 1985 he was elected Vice President of the Chinese Musiciansl Association, and Executive Vice President of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles in 1988 and in 1996 was re-elected Vice President. From 1996 he was Advisor of the China National Symphony Orchestra. He has been a juror and organizer at many national and international competitions.

Prof. Zuqiang WU has composed music of many genres, and his music for the dance drama IThe Merrnaidll and the ballet IThe Red Detachment of Womenn have greatly influenced modern Chinese ballet music. In recent years an attempt to combine traditional Chinese folk music and instruments with the European-style orchestra, through composition and re-adaptation, has been widely welcomed and acclaimed both in the Chinese music world and abroad. His textbook "The Musical Forms and Analysis of Works" has won the National Awards in 1987.
