Prof. Svetla PROTICH
ソフィアの生まれ。8才でリサイタルを開き、9才で作曲家・演奏家ユニオンに加入を許された。14才の時、モスクワ音楽祭(のちのチャイコフスキー・コンクール)で入賞。20才の時、数々の栄誉と共にブルガリア国立音楽院を卒業。ルーマニアのブカレストでフロリカ・ムズィチェスク教授に師事、ピアノ演奏特別コースを受講。国内の2つのコンクールに2度優勝後、ソフィア交響楽団のソリストとして、またソロピアニストとして欧米で演奏活動を行う。日本のキングレコード、ハーモニア・ムンディー等でレコーディングを行う。室内楽のレパートリーが広く、デュオ、トリオ、クヮルテット、クィンテット等のメンバーとして演奏し、数多くのコンサートを開く。日本でも大阪、東京、京都をはじめ、多くの都市でリサイタルを開催。現在同志社女子大学音楽科教授。
Born in Sofia, Prof. Svetla PROTICH gave her first recital at the age of eight, and at nine she was accepted as a member of the Union of Composers and Performing Artists. At fourteen, she was a prizewinner at the Pre-Competition of the Moscow Music Festival (later renamed Tchaikovsky Competition). She graduated from the Conservatory of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria, at the age of twenty with several awards and honours. She took a special course for piano Interpretation under Prof. Florica Musicescu in Bucharest, Romania. Having won two National Competitions, Prof. Svetla PROTICH pursued an active performing career, both as a soloist with the Sofia Symphony Orchestra and as a performing artist in her own right, on stages throughout Europe and the U.S.A. She has worked on numerous recordings for King Records Japan,Harmonia Mundi etc. Prof. Svetla PROTICH has a vast chamber music repertoire. She takes also part in concerts with various chamber formations: duo, trio, quartet, quintet, etc. She has given many recitals in Japan, particularly in Osaka, Tokyo and Kyoto and Is currently Professor at the Department of Music of Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts .
パリ生まれ。フランス音楽を最も繊細に弾く世界的ピアニスト。プークラン、サティー、フォーレ、サン=サーンス、ラベルを演奏すると、エレガンス、優美、そしてデリケートなフレージングできわだっている。彼の演奏は、今日ではフランス音楽を最良に演奏することと同じと言われる程、その名声は高まっている。レコード会社「デッカ」との専属契約を結んでいるが、その録音時の演奏でグラモフォン賞を2度、グランプリ賞を受賞。更に、M.ラベルとサン=サーンスの協奏曲の演奏でエジソン賞を受賞。1999年デュトワ氏指揮のもと、2つのピアノ協奏曲「オバド(朝の奏楽)」「チェンバロと管弦楽のための田園の奏楽」をレコーディング。
アメリカで定期演奏をする他に、南米、メキシコ、オーストラリアそして特に日本で幾度も演奏を行っている。
