a. Check food, alcohol consumption, medication, living situation, and travels abroad
b. Characteristics of diarrhea: loose or watery, presence or absence of blood or mucosa
c. Past history: diabetes, pancreatitis, gastrectomy, cholecystectomy, disease of the large intestine, disease of the small intestine
d. Accompanying symptoms: abdominal pain, fever, nausea, vomiting, dehydration, consciousness disorder, blood pressure decrease
