ISO/TC8/SC10 Resolutions
Resolution 16
SC10 is concerned about lack of communication between all the members of WG1.
SC 10 asks the secretary to recommend Mr. E. D. Story to call for the meeting within WG1 to ensure that all comments to the drafts are known to all the members of WG1 and consensus is reached within WG1.
Resolution 17
SC10 proposes to utilise the fast track procedure for revision drafts of ISO 7462 and IS07463.
Resolution 18
SC 10 recognizes that since Norway is now actively participating, the number of countries has reached the number of minimum 5. And hence the work can continue.
SC 10 will welcome a joint working group with IEC/TC 18 and/or TC80 should such request be received.
Resolution 19
SC 10 asks the secretary to urge Mr. S. Schilling to call for the meeting of WG4 to get the work started.
Resolution 20
SC10 will have on its agenda consideration of standards which are due for periodical review during the coming period with the purpose of formulating comments to P-member countries to accompany the standards for review.
Resolution 21
10.18 in possible new work items will be amended to: Hull stress monitoring systems(HSMS).
Resolution 22
SC 10 expressed its appreciation for the work carried out by the secretary Mr. Iver Foss and asks NTS to extend his engagement beyond year 2000.
