ASANO EXCELSIOR 20,872-dwt Cement Carrier
The 20,872-dwt self loading/unloading cement carrier ASANO EXCELSIOR was built at Hiroshima Works of Shin Kurushima Dockyard Co., Ltd. and delivered to Corazon Shipping S.A. in June 1997.
Features
The cement loading/unloading system has the capacity of 1,500 t/h mechanical loading, 1,000 t/h mechanical unloading and 500 t/h pneumatic unloading (2-lines).
The system consists of hold bottom air slides, vertical screw conveyors, IC pump, discharge boom conveyor, etc.
Hold is designed and built with special care for cargo residue. An electric motor driven bow thruster of 914 kW is equipped.
