5.2 Implementation & Schedule
The conclusion of Loan Agreement is expected in April 1999 taking into account the required time for appraisal of the Government of Japan.
The Engineering Service Contract shall be awarded by direct appointment. The detailed design shall be commenced in the middle of 1999, and will be completed in one year. The Construction shall be selected in accordance with the guideline of Overseas Economics Cooperation Fund (OECF). The construction of the major works will be completed in 30 months counting from the date of Notice to Proceed. The implementation schedule of the Project is shown in Fig.5.2.1.
5.3 Construction Mode
A qualified constructor to carry out the construction works of the Project will be selected in accordance with the Procurement Guidelines of OECF, and selected Japanese Contractor will carry out in one package including all the civil works, building works, hydromechanical works and installing equipments and plants.
5.4 Engineering Servrce
The procurement of the Consultant for implementation of the Project shall be carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the OECF. The Consultant shall be selected in direct appointment. The assignment schedule of the Consultant is shown in Fig.5.4.1.
