During the 4 weeks period of the COPE, the tide related strong internal solitary wave (ISW) activities have been frequentiy observed. The isotherm records measured by FLIP demonstrated that the maximum amplitude of isotherm depression can reach to 30m from the surface. In Fig.1 , the typical time-dependent isotherm record (12 hr period) has been transformed to range-dependent isotherm h(r) profile, which we used for acoustic propagation simulation. The simplified range-dependent sound speed profile (SSP), and bottom parameters are taken as follows :
