M.: I'm glad to hear that. Mom told me how Dad treated you. He's totally unreasonable.
H.: (darkly) workell, he's gonna get his. It's started already, with your mom leaving.
M.: He brought it on himself, I guess. I can't help wondering how he's doing, though.
H.: (gleefully) Not too well. He seems to have trouble keeping help at the restaurant. I look through the window whenever I pass.
