Article 36
The referees shall line up in their designated places in the dohyo-damari (waiting area) and bow standing at the command of the gyoji when they enter or exit.
Article 37
The referees shall rotate their positions according to the following rules.
(1) The current referees shal1 stand and bow at their respective seats at the command of the gyoji. They shall then line up at their designated place in the dohyo-damari.
(2)The next referees shall line up at the designated place in the dohyo-damari and shall and bow at the command of the gyoji and move to each respective refereeing seat.
(3) When all referees have moved to their proper locations as explained in (l) and (2) above, the rotation is completed.
(4) The gyoji shall stand in position one, when he gives the commands for standing courtesies as delineated above.
Chapter 3 Revisions to the Regulations on Refereeing
Article 38
Revisions to the refereeing regulations are deliberated by the ISF Competitions Committee which are then approved by the Board of Directors.
Supplementary Rules
These regulations shall take effect from April 1, 1997.
