Oil Fence Extending Barge, GUNJO NO.3

　

This barge was built by Hitachi Zosen Corporation and delivered to Navix Shipsowning Co., Ltd. on May 8, 1996.

The purpose of this vessel is to lay an oil fence and conduct oil recovery in an oil-contaminated sea area. This barge has a maximum oil fence expanding capacity of 1,500m and oil recovery capacity of 90m³, which can be safely towed and efficiency operated under the sea conditions of the wind velocity of 20m/sec. and a significant wave height of 2.0m.
