ALLIGATOR WISDOM a 2,642-TEU Container Carrier
The ALLIGATOR WISDOM was delivered in June 1995 to Camellia Container Carrier S.A. by Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. The vessel can carry the equivalent of 2,542TEU, including 300 refrigerated container units, on the base of 10 rows stacked 8 tiers in holds and 13 rows stacked 3 tiers on deck. The vessel is designed to load 20 feet, 40 feet and 45 feet containers and dangerous cargo containers can also be carried.
The main engine is the latest MAN-B & W 8K90MC, and the highly sckewed propeller together with the propeller boss cap fins is installed.
The electric generator plant consists of 3 generators and also has the shaft generator as well as a turbo generator for achieving the best efficiency of fuel consumption.
The navigation bridge is well designed to comply with MO-B automation and integrated office, meeting space, etc. are also arranged in the same space.
