The 47,529-dwt Bulk Carrier SANKO ROSE was delivered to Rose Bulkship Limited in August 1995 at Imari Works of Namura Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.

 

Features

 

1. The last vessel in a series of ten open-hatch box-shaped new builders jointly developed by the ship owner and the yard for speed up cargo handling, saving time and labor costs.

2. Achieves superior propulsive performance due to the hull form developed on the basis of NAMURA's latest technology and long experience.

3. The long-stroke, low-revolution and fuel-efficient main engine drives a large diameter propeller for improved propulsive efficiency.

4. Special consideration was given to safety, safeguards against environmental pollution, labor savings and operational economy.
