9th International conference on computer Applications in Shipbuilding
GREETINGS
The Society of Naval Architects of Japan cordially invites you to ICCAS '97 scheduled to meet in Yokohama this October 13-17. 1997 marks our Society's centennial and it comes as a distinct honor for us to host ICCAS '97 at this most auspicious time.
The advances being made in information technology present a matter of vital importance for the world's shipbuilding industries. Shipbuilding will become an information-based industry producing highly sophisticated products for not only the maritime transportation but also marine environment. ICCAS '97 will provide a forum for exchanges of achievements and ideas regarding information technology as applied to shipbuilding. A concurrent exhibition at the same venue will show the very latest in shipbuilding techniques
We firmly believe that ICCAS '97 will prove to be most beneficial for naval architects, engineers, operators and so forth, as well as a fitting celebration for SNAJ.
