(5) Earthquake preparation facility projects

In fiscal 1995, the total expenditure on national granted projects in prefectures for the promotion of earthquake preparation facilities etc., was \47,690,460,000 (11 groups), and the total expenditure on unsubsidized projects in prefectures was \132,994,960,000 (28 groups).

The total expenditure on national granted projects in municipalities for the same purpose was \34,797,740,000(649 groups), and the total expenditure on unsubsidized projects in municipalities was \ 58,492,060,000 (1,345 groups).
