expenses necessary for the measures to be implemented by the provider of the specified aerodrome in the case of the latter.

 

(Subsidy for Noise Prevention Work at Schools, etc.)
Article 5. The provider of any specified aerodrome shall, when any local public body or other entity intends to carry out necessary work at the following facilities in order to prevent or decrease disturbance arising from aircraft noise around said aerodrome, subsidize the whole or a part of the expenses to the above mentioned public body or entity within budgetary limits, in accordance with Cabinet Order:
(1)Any school as specified by the provisions of Article 1 (Scope of Schools) of the School Education Law (Law No. 26, 1947);
(2)Any hospital as specified by the provisions of subparagraph (1) of Article 1 paragraph 2 of the Medical Treatment Law (Law No. 250, 1948);
(3)Any facility as specified by Cabinet Order, similar to those under the preceding two subparagraphs.

 

(Subsidy for Common-Use Facilities)
Article 6. Any provider of a specified aerodrome shall, when any city (including a special ward, which shall hereinafter be the case), town or village, containing said aerodrome or its vicinity in its administrative area, considers that the life of the inhabitants of said area may be adversely affected by aircraft noise and intends to take necessary measures for the maintenance of facilities for use of study, meeting, etc. and other common-use facilities necessary for the quality of life of the inhabitants as may be specified by Cabinet Order, subsidize a part of the expenses within budgetary limits to the above-mentioned city, or village in accordance with the provisions of a Cabinet Order.

 

(Furnishing, etc., Capital)
Article 7. The State shall make efforts to mediate or furnish the necessary capital and other assistance to any person who intends to carry out works under Article 5 (Subsidy for Noise Prevention Works at School, etc.)

 

(Transfer, etc. of State Common Property)
Article 8. The State may, when it recognizes the need in a business in relation to works under Article 5 (Subsidy for Noise Prevention Works at School, etc.) or measure under Article 6 (Subsidy for Common Use Facilities), transfer or loan common property to any local public body or other entity.

 

(Subsidy for Noise Prevention Work in Residential Buildings)
Article 8-(2). The provider of a specified aerodrome shall, when any owner of a residence (as defined below) or any person having rights other than the ownership concerning the residence in question intends to carry out necessary works to
