appointment as a pilot flight training supervisor (Form No. 27-2)” in the same Article shall read as a “a certificate of appointment as a supervisor of flight training of instrument flight, etc.” (Form No. 27-3).

 

Article 70. The provisions under Article 69-(2) paragraph 1 shall apply accordingly to a person who supervises a training flight of instrument flight, etc. under Article 35-(2) paragraph 2 of the Law (hereinafter referred to as “a supervisor of flight training of instrument flight, etc.). In this case, “any person who conducts pilot flight training under each item of Article 35 paragraph 1 of the Law (hereinafter referred to as “a student pilot”) shall read as “a student pilot of instrument flight, etc.” and pilot flight training as “flight training of instrument flight etc.”

 

2. A supervisor of flight training of instrument flight, etc. shall not supervise that training flight unless he confirms the matters as listed in the following subparagraphs concerning a student pilot of instrument flight, etc.:
(1)He has obtained material and information necessary for that flight training and is familiar with the meaning and contents thereof,
(2)He carries instruments necessary for that flight training with him, and is familiar with the method of using the instruments.

 

3. A supervisor of flight training of instrument flight, etc. shall, when a student pilot of instrument flight, etc. make a training flight, make a dual flight with him and be always in a position to assume control and to pilot the aircraft.

 

(Reissuance of Competence Certification, etc.)
Article 71. Any airman or student pilot shall, when he will submit an application for reissuance by reason that he has lost, destroyed or stained his competence certificate, aviation medical certificate, or student pilot permit, or change his permanent address, present address or name, submit an application for reissuance (Form No. 28) to the Minister of Transport (when his aviation medical certificate has been issued by a designated medical examiner, to the aviation medical examiner. The same shall apply in paragraph 3).

 

2. An application under the preceding paragraph shall be accompanied by two photographs (except the case of applying for reissuance for an aviation medical certificate) and the following documents:
(1)A competence certificate or an aviation medical certificate, or a student pilot permit (except in the case the said document is lost);
(2)A copy of the abstract of the census register or resident registration (only when a permanent address or present address has been changed); and
(3)A reason for loss and date thereof (only when an application for reissuance is submitted within thirty days from the date of loss).
