Article 42. Any person (except any person who makes an application in accordance with the provisions of Article 57; hereinafter referred to as “applicant for competence certification” in this Article) who will make an application for competence certification under Article 22 of the Law shall submit to the Minister of Transport an application for competence certification (Form No. 19).
2. The application under the preceding paragraph shall be accompanied by the three photographs (unmounted (5 centimetres by 4 centimetres) representing a bust with no headwear and taken within six months before the application and with the applicants name clearly scripted on the back of the photograph;
(1)When any person who will be exempted from all or part of the subjects of a theoretical examination in accordance with the provisions of Article 48 or Article 48-(2), a copy of the document under Article 47;
(2)When any person having a qualification certificate for competence for air navigation service issued by a foreign Government, who will be exempted from the examination, a copy of the certificate.
3. Any applicant for competence certification (except any person who will be exempted from all subjects of a theoretical examination) shall submit to the Minister of Transport an application for theoretical examination (Form No. 19-2) together with an application under paragraph 1.
4. Any applicant for competence certification who will be exempted from all subjects of a theoretical examination and will undergo a practical examination shall submit to the Minister of Transport an application for practical examination (Form No. 19-3) together with an application under paragraph 1.
5. Any applicant for competence certification under paragraph 3 who has passed a theoretical examination shall, when he will undergo a practical examination, submit to the Minister of Transport an application for practical examination together with a copy of a document under Article 47.
6. Any person who makes an application for competence certification in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 shall submit to the Minister of Transport the documents certifying that he is of the age stipulated in paragraph 1 of the following Article and will have flying experience and other experience as listed in the attached table No. 2 within the two years from the date of submission of an application for competence certification.
