The SR series of engines developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. consists of three types, with 6, 12 and 16 cylinders each, and covers a power output range of up to 3,000 PS. Already, more than 5,000 units of these types have been sold in total.
Of this series, the six-cylinder S6R2-MTK (720 PS) is particularly well suited to heavy load work vessels, such as large fishing boats and tugboats, in output and torque characteristics in the normal speed range. Many units of this model have been delivered to customers, especially in

FM6TA Marine Diesel Engine
The FM6TA diesel is a marine version of the FE6 series of automotive engines manufactured by Nissan Diesel Motor Co., Ltd. It is a direct injection turbocharged diesel engine with an after-cooler.
